The blue dog-thing is for an art trade between me and a friend!

The lion is a more personal/emotional piece inspired by:
Weep for yourself, my man,
You'll never be what is in your heart
Weep Little Lion Man,
You're not as brave as you were at the start
Rate yourself and rake yourself,
Take all the courage you have left
Wasted on fixing all the problems
That you made in your own head

Another round of daily doodles comin' at'cha!

A bunch of daily doodles/designs I do for the phone of it and for warm up for the day :)

For His Kingdom Chapter Covers

My summer project is a historical comic following the campaign of Jeanne d'Arc, including the Battle of Herrings, Siege of Orleans, and Siege of Compiègne up until her capture and burning. The chapter covers shown here are allegoric and follow the language of heraldry with plays on the dexter and sinister positioning of the animals to illustrate the situations at the time. The English Lion, the Scottish Unicorn, and the Gallic (French) Rooster all show up and on later chapter covers, horses and dove symbolism will be employed as well.

Enjoy!
